At Mandi & Co. Salon, we’ve realized so many of our clients share a love for good books, good conversation, and meaningful connection, so we wanted to host a Books & Blowouts event as a way to bring those worlds together. Our mission is to create a warm, welcoming experience where guests can relax, discover new reads, enjoy a little self-care, and connect with other women who love beauty, creativity, and community just as much as we do.

Rules To Participate
To keep the swap fun, thoughtful, and enjoyable for everyone, we ask that all guests bring up to 5 books in good, readable condition that another reader would genuinely be excited to take home. Any genre is welcome, however we ask that no children’s books be included. Guests may select up to the same number of books they contribute, and all books must be checked in at the designated swap table before browsing. While we hope everyone finds books they love, part of the fun is discovering something unexpected, connecting with other readers, and enjoying the overall experience together. 🤍
What To Expect
When you arrive, you’ll check in and drop off your books at the designated swap table before browsing the event. Guests receiving a blowout service will get started at their selected appointment time, while others are welcome to relax, sip coffee or mimosas, snack, mingle, and explore the book swap. Blowout services include a signature wash, volume blowout, and a polished smooth finish around the hairline. Once you’re ready, you’ll be able to choose up to 5 books to take home in your Mandi & Co. Salon tote bag, and everyone is invited to create a personalized bookmark at our bookmark station before heading home.
